Town of Gordon

Dear Friends & Neighbors,

The 2009 Gordon Good Neighbor Days celebration is right around the corner, and plans are underway for another terrific event!

As July 4th falls on a Saturday, the 2009 Annual Festival is sure to be a tremendous weekend.  We will begin on Friday with our 2nd Annual Community Garage & Thrift Sales, followed by the Homerun Derby and then the 2nd Annual NHS Alumni Baseball Game.  Other popular activities over the weekend include the Luis Franco Memorial 5K Walk/Run, Good Neighbor Days Parade, crafters, a wide-range of vendors, Car Show, Duck Race, pancake breakfast, mud volleyball (Sunday) and Saturday's world-class fireworks display.

A vital part of our planning is the financial aspect.  Our weekend events and activities are paid for through fundraising efforts and from individual donations.  We are hopeful you will be able to assist us in 2009 with your donation - large of small.

Any donation you make is tax deductible and can be sent to:  Gordon Good Neighbor Days, PO Box 33, Gordon, WI 54838.

If you choose to volunteer some of your time to the success of the weekend or become involved with Good Neighbor Days in another manner, please contact Mick Johnson, GND Chair, 715-376-2306 or any other committee member.

Thank you in advance for your continued (or new) support, and we look forward to seeing you for the 2009 Gordon Good Neighbor Days!

Thank you!  The Gordon Good Neighbor Days Planning Committee
